Members, Visitors, Social Groups and Corporate customers are advised the recent fire which destroyed the clubhouse has not affected golf play at Ashlar. The course is in excellent condition (apart from the practise putting greens which sustained some minor damage) and all golf play and competitions are as normal. Patrons are advised to contact the Pro Shop directly for bookings on 9621 3924.

All golf functions, social groups and corporate days can still be conducted with some changes to catering. Group organisers are urged to contact the club to confirm bookings on 9622 4300. Sunday social clubs are particularly urged to contact the club regarding their bookings.

The clubhouse is operating from air conditioned, portable buildings with cold beer, drinks and snacks available for purchase. Staff are endeavouring to restore services to normal and we thank you for your patience.

Ashlar Golf Course is one of a small number of legitimate "St Andrews" courses in Australia and is in peak condition most of the year because of its abundant water supply. Playing on the course is a real experience - an oasis in the west, because the landscaping is so appropriate visually. The course is 6,061 metres in length, rated a Group One course by the New South Wales Golf Association and as such is maintained to have quality playing conditions at all times.

The course is regarded as a fair, but challenging course for golfers of all standards and is truly a hidden green oasis in the Greater Blacktown Region. The golf course continues to be very popular with both members of Ashlar and other golf clubs and non-members looking for a round of social golf. Over 30,000 rounds of golf are played annually in organised club competitions and social golfing by members. A further 30,000 round of golf are played each year by social golfers. The club boasts a fleet of modern Yamaha motorised electric golf buggies that are available by booking through the club's Pro Shop.

Ashlar is proud to have had Won Joon Lee who is now playing on the US circuit as a proud member and he still visits us when he is at home.

ASHLAR CHAMPIONS

The 2009 Club Champion is Adam Downton who not only won the event with a fantastic overall result of 17 under par, which consisted of a 65, 66, 70 and 66, he also achieved two new club records. The round of 65, and the 17 under par are going to be hard to beat. Congratulations Adam.
